A. Common causes:- Gout
- Pseudogout
- Trauma
- Haemarthrosis
- Spondyloarthritis
- Psoriatic arthritis
- Reactive arthritis
- Enteropathic arthritis
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Juvenile idiopathic arthritis
- Pigmented villonodular synovitis
- Foreign body reaction
- Tuberculosis
- Leukaemia & Osteomyelitis (ln children, both of the conditions may present with monoarthritis)
- Gonococcal infection
